Cute little French themed cafe close to Pikes Place Market. We went there for the weekend brunch service and it didn't disappoint. I had the French omelet and my wife had the French toast. The food was delicious. Would eat here again.
Never ever, Eva fails!!! This is comfort food dining experience. Everything tastes like it is made with love, the croissants, eggs, house made chicken sausage, dishes I can't pronounce!!! I ain't lying, but I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
This place was highly recommended so I was excited to try it for the first time. I like how it is tucked away on a side street in Pike Place. The French theme is very apparent from the art to the furniture! It adds a really nice touch. I came here for breakfast and decided to try the classic Croque monsiuer. It was quite large! I split that and the vegetable quiche with my dining partner. The quiche was so light and fluffy, one of the best I've ever had! Both dishes came with a gorgeous fresh salad. We were both quite full, but wanted to get the french toast on the side for a little something sweet. Unfortunately the french toast was a bit lacking. I had been told the main entree of French Toast is really good, but this side version was a bit of a letdown. Overall I would love to come here for a dinner or another brunch at some point. There are so many delicious sounding menu items to choose from! Service was great as well.
I was in the mood for avocado toast so my husband suggested we check out café champagne. It is in a perfect location and the decoration is just darling! I had seen pictures of their hot chocolate and was most excited to order that first. He and I ordered two, but they suggested we only get one so we did. Honestly, we should've gotten two. Since we knew that we would be sharing the chocolate, we decided to get a cappuccino and a latte. The latte sent me to heaven and back. But the hot chocolate gave me life. The waitress was sweet with her explanations and recommendations although we still think we should've had separate hot chocolates, but either way she was looking out for us because she knew how rich it was and wanted us to enjoy the food. The only thing was that the avocado toast was not what I expected. It was my first time eating crab cold , but I think it was the fact that it didn't have any taste. Actually, no, it taste like the ocean. But still, I did not enjoy such saltines and coldness. Also, the avocado was mixed up with celery and leeks, and my mind kept telling me it was onion, which, by the way, I absolutely hate onion. I took two bites and couldn't continue to lie to myself. The bread was tasteless hard and cold. My husband enjoyed his plate, especially the salad he ordered the omelette, but ended up full, so he took it to go. We also got fries which we enjoyed, but it was a lot, and I couldn't justify eating only fries with coffee and hot chocolate for breakfast. Yes, life is short, so of course I ordered it thanks to all the online recommendations. The house made aioli sauce was amazing. I'll be coming again here for their hot chocolate.
The food was very good and so was the server. They kept water and coffee full and checked in regularly. The food and drinks were all very tasty and fresh. They had a few vegetarian options too which was nice. The ambiance and our seating was a little meh. We made a reservation and our table was way back in the corner tucked next to a rowdy larger table, whereas others who walked in before us were seated at nicer spots. I wish they had put us at one of the 2-3 window tables they had open with more space instead of in the back corner. That's my only negative though as everything else was great!
Delicious food and great service! We went for breakfast after visiting the OG Starbucks and Fish Market nearby. Lots of things to do within walking distance and plenty of parking along the streets!
The sequel was as good as the original! It's been 3-years since my first visit to Cafe Campagne for brunch, and I rarely think the sequel can be as good as the original, but it was!!! I give this restaurant such high marks because first of all the food is unbelievably incredible, second the service is so on point with a five star restaurant, finally the ambiance is so reminiscent of visiting France. I put this on my my can't miss Seattle stops, next time I'm going for dinner!
As a connoisseur of various quiches, I can confidently say that Cafe Campagne's quiche is my absolute favorite. Its smooth, creamy, and flavorful texture simply melts in your mouth. Paired with a delightful vinaigrette salad topped with crumbled goat cheese, it's truly delicious. If you happen to be visiting Pike Place Market or exploring Seattle, I highly recommend this as the perfect lunch destination.
On a quick visit to the Seattle, we stopped by Cafe Campagne for brunch where it was bustling with locals and tourists alike. Service was friendly and attentive, as we got our coffees and ice water pretty quickly and they both stayed full throughout the meal. Modeled after a French cafe, the decor and menu were consistent with that, along with Pacific Northwest riffs. The country pate appetizer was excellent, with delicious chunks of port and chicken served alongside crusty baguette slices, pickled vegs and tangy mustards. The butter croissant was flaky and decadently buttery. Both were a great setup for our main dishes, including the fresh salade nicoise which was filled with fresh, crisp vegetables, tender fingerling potatoes, delicious tuna, hard boiled egg, and briny olive tapenade on crostini, as well as rich brioche French toast nestled among fresh berries, and a tender French rolled omelette containing cheese, escarole and chopped herb that came along with a juicy chicken sausage and breakfast potatoes. While on the higher price point side, it was a great dining experience and look forward to trying other menu items on our next visit
NOT A TOURIST TRAP | 10/10 Cafe Campagne Really good Carrot & Ginger Soup, Dungeness Crab Quiche, Dungeness Crab Omelette. Super filling, fresh West Coast seafood. Perfect serving size dishes. I was really surprised with the quiche. Quiche can be hit or miss. It was packed with flavor and enough creaminess. You feel satisfied during and after your visit. I absolutely love this place for Brunch. The server was very nice, she split our soup and salad without us even asking! So sweet.
